Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1

What exactly does Motor City Auto Connect do?

Accepted Answer

We're an independent referral service. You tell us what vehicle you're looking for — type, model, budget, preferences — and we search local Metro Detroit dealership inventory to find options that match. Then we connect you directly with a dealership that has what you need. We don't sell vehicles ourselves.

Question 2

Is this service free for buyers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, completely free. There is no cost to you at any point. We are compensated through referral arrangements with dealerships, not by charging buyers.

Question 3

Are you a dealership or a lender?

Accepted Answer

No. Motor City Auto Connect is an independent automotive referral and connection service. We are not affiliated with any dealership, manufacturer, or lender. We do not sell vehicles, arrange financing, or hold any inventory.

Question 4

What happens after I submit the form?

Accepted Answer

We review your request and search local inventory for vehicles that match your criteria. If we find a strong match, we'll reach out by phone or text to discuss your options and, if you're interested, introduce you to the dealership. The whole process is low-pressure — you're never obligated to move forward.

Question 5

How long does it take to hear back?

Accepted Answer

We typically follow up within one business day. Response times may vary depending on inventory availability and the specificity of your request.

Question 6

What area do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We currently serve the Metro Detroit area, including Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. If you're outside this area, we may still be able to help — reach out and we'll let you know.

Question 7

Do you work with new vehicles, used vehicles, or both?

Accepted Answer

Both. Whether you're looking for a new model-year vehicle or a certified pre-owned or used vehicle, we can search inventory across local dealerships for either.

Question 8

What if I have bad credit or need financing?

Accepted Answer

We can note your financing situation in your request and connect you with dealerships that work with a range of credit profiles. We don't arrange financing ourselves, but the dealerships we work with often have finance departments that can help.

Question 9

Will my information be sold or shared?

Accepted Answer

No. Your personal information is used only to find your vehicle match and connect you with a relevant local dealership. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Question 10

What if I don't find what I'm looking for?

Accepted Answer

If we can't find a strong match right away, we'll let you know. Inventory changes frequently, so we may follow up if something matching your criteria becomes available. There's no obligation on your end at any point.
